Late last night, I took some time to watch the interview between Stripe’s CEO and Jensen. It was truly remarkable.The insights from this discussion have prompted me to reflect on the delicate balance between work and life—a universal challenge, not just for me. I found myself contemplating deeply. Why?It’s time to acknowledge a crucial truth: beyond mere exchange, Web3 businesses and games cannot rely on traditional models. We must create new market models. Web3 games and GameFi are separate. Using Web2 concepts and modules to develop Web3 games is one of the reasons players consider Web3 games a failure. This results in a lack of participants. In Web3, inherent demand is absent; the primary drive of the game is to make money. However, with dwindling profit opportunities, this motivation is already gone. This isn’t what true builders strive for.As we navigate the intersection of virtual and physical realms, do we aspire to build excellent enterprises or settle for poison apple GameFi? I’ve always championed the technological stack and innovation in CHIC, akin to Gen. AI. The democratization of technology seems promising for Web3 tech startups, but in practice, it proves to be challenging.Our true competitors aren’t limited to GameFi; they include industry giants like Square Enix. Players remain loyal to established platforms such as EA, Square Enix, Epic, and Steam. Web3 competitors are not merely other startups but Web2.Consequently, competing with these giants feels akin to throwing eggs at a stone wall. Jensen’s market creation concept provides a solution for Web3 games, social platforms, and more. Isn’t this exactly what we need? “Creating internal demand.”To all the visionary founders in Web3, I can only offer one sentiment: May God bless us all. LOL
